Wangensteen Needle Holder is handcrafted with tungsten carbide inserts that provide control, precision and a dependable non-slip serrated surface. The straight jaws are to be used with 1-0, 2-0 and 3-0 sutures and reduce slippage and rotation while throwing sutures. This instrument is protected by Surgical’s manufacturer warranty on defects in materials and workmanship. Tungsten carbide needle holders provide unparalleled control while suturing. The precision-milled, pyramid-shaped teeth ensure a dependable, non-slip surface. Some needle holder styles are also available with smooth tungsten carbide jaws, designed to hold the smallest sutures in microsurgical and plastic surgery procedures. Tungsten carbide jaws are inherently more durable than stainless steel and clinicians will experience an extended serviSW-life. These needle holders feature gold-plated handles.
