For use with 5-0, 6-0, and 7-0 sutures, the 1.0 mm jaws are designed to tightly grip the needle and prevent rotation. The flat handles are gold-plated and offer a non-slip control. Tungsten carbide needle holders provide unparalleled control while suturing. The precision-milled, pyramid-shaped teeth ensure a dependable, non-slip surface. Some needle holder styles are also available with smooth tungsten carbide jaws, designed to hold the smallest sutures in microsurgical and plastic surgery procedures.
